Does not fit on Lamp
The center hole on the product is too small to fit over the stem on my table lamp control knob. I have Stiffel lamps, top of the line table lamps, and product does not work. Before ordering make sure you have a very small/thin thread on the lamp switch stem, otherwise it won't work!

Be Wary
They don't fit common standard size lamp control knobs around here. One is too loose (on an IKEA floor lamp.) The other one was too tight on another floor lamp even after I tried expanding the grippers on the device. I struggled so much with it, that it suddenly broke off the knob's stem inside the lamp's pole. Now I have ruined the lamp and not being handy enough to fuss with a rewiring kit I have the expense of going out and trying to replace the whole lamp! BEWARE!
