The 3pp® Gel Mate Self-Adhesive Scar Therapy Sheet is a silicone gel sheet designed to soften and improve the appearance of scars. This easy-to-apply, self-adherent gel sheet promotes skin healing and diminishes the appearance of scars.

The 3pp® Gel Mate Self-Adhesive Scar Therapy Sheet has been proven to soften and improve the appearance of new and old scars. The medical grade silicon gel sheet is self-adherent on one side and backed by an anti-microbial bacteria-resistant cloth that glides under clothing. Silicone gel has been shown to provide an hydrating effect to the scar and surrounding skin, promoting faster healing and increasing skin mobility. The gel sheeting applies long-term light pressure on scars to help flatten and soften raised scars, and help prevent the formation of hypertrophic (thickened) or Keloid scars. The silicone gel sheet applies gentle pressure to the surface of the scar and also helps to align collagen fibers to aid in healing wounds and prevent scars from limiting the motion of the ligaments and tendons under the skin. This is especially important for scars on the wrist, hand or foot where tendons and ligaments are quite superficial and scar tissue can limit motion. The silicone gel sheet is hypoallergenic, durable, washable, and 100% latex-free, and should be applied when the wound is fully closed. A measurement grid on the back of the sheet makes it easy to cut the right size and can be used to measure the progress as the scar heals. The 3pp® Gel Mate Self-Adhesive Scar Therapy Sheet is made of medical-grade silicone and is recommended for diminishing scars from injury, surgery, burns, acne, and stretch marks.
