The 3pp® ThumSling® is designed to hold the CMC joint in the proper position so users can perform daily activities with less pain or fear of dropping things due to CMC arthritis. This soft, lightweight wrap applies light compression to relieve arthritis pain at the base or CMC joint of the thumb.

The 3pp® ThumSling® is made with foam-lined material that contours to the hand for non-bulky support that can be worn all day or night. The conforming four-way stretch fabric provides even joint compression and support without increased bulk. The material is soft, breathable fabric and foam that allows airflow all over. A 2-inch removable stay is included for added control and custom fit. The wrap-around splint adjusts to your level of comfortable support. The 3pp® ThumSling® soft, lightweight thumb wrap splint applies light compression to relieve arthritis pain at the base or CMC joint of the thumb.

To determine the size needed, lay hand flat and measure around the MP joints (large knuckles). Specify size and Left or Right.

Have been wearing this sling for a few days now and it has greatly helped with my CMC arthritis. It is comfortable to wear, easy to put on myself, and holds up well in the wash. Thinking about getting and extra one.

Immediate Relief

I was a skeptic that a wrap could offer relief but I decided it was worth a try and it looked like a well thought-out design. I put it on and got instant relief from the ongoing nagging pain of my CMC. I wear it when I sleep and it prevents the pain that sometimes wakes me up during the night. After wearing it at night for a week now I have less pain all day long. Although, during the day when I don't wear it some movements still produce the sharp pain, it doesn't seem as bad. The material it is made of seems very light weight and I don't think it would hold up to busy daily use in my case, so I don't wear it during the day. Something that could be worn all day should be made from a heavier material. That is why I didn't give it five stars. It is light weight enough that I think a loose-fitting glove could be worn over it during the day if you felt it was needed. I definitely think the price is right for anyone who thinks it may give them some relief to give it a try.

Very comfortable sling

Have used this sling for the past several days. It's light weight and comfortable. It has reduced my arthritis pain considerably in a few short days.

Q: I am looking for a support for my thumb, but I need the fingers to allow freedom of movement for computer work. I have pain in the thumb joint. Is this the best option for what I need?

A: The 3pp ThumSling should work well because it supports and provides light compression on just the thumb. The rest of the fingers are not constricted in anyway so working on a computer should not be affected.

Q: How to measure hand for wrap around thumb splint?

A: Measure the circumference around the knuckles (pinky to index finger). Be sure to specify left or right hand.

Small/Medium Fits: 6 - 7.25 inch circumference at MP's.
Medium/Large Fits: 7.25 - 9 inch circumference at MP's.
