Akton Polymer Adaptive Flat Pad 1/2 inch

The Akton Polymer Adaptive Flat Pad 1/2 inch is made of 100% smooth, pressure relieving gel Akton Polymer. This gel pad can be used for a variety of applications for traditional and non-traditional pressure challenges. Easily cut the pad for spot protection on areas that cause pressure problems including arm rests, foot supports, head rests, leg rests, and splints and braces.

Akton Polymer will not leak, flow, or bottom out, and moves with the user. This viscoelastic polymer is designed to reduce pressure and shear, the two leading causes of pressure sores. Akton polymer is also easy to clean with standard disinfectant. It will not support microbiological growth, and it won't absorb body fluids or odors.

Please note: The Akton Polymer Adaptive Flat Pad 1/2 inch is intended for use as a cushion for comfort only, not medical intervention. When the 1/2 inch pad is used for a seating cushion, the pad must be used with an Action brand cover for warranty to be in force.
