The Akton Polymer Adaptive Flat Pad 5/8 inch provides pressure relief for multifunctional applications for traditional and non-traditional seating challenges. This 100% smooth viscoelastic gel pad can be cut and used for spot protection on areas that are at risk for pressure such as arm rests, foot plates, head rests, leg rests, and splints or braces.

Akton Polymer Adaptive Flat Pad 5/8 inch reduces pressure and shear, the two leading causes of pressure sores. The gel pad won't leak, flow, or bottom out, and moves with user, not against them. Akton polymer is also easy to clean with standard disinfectant. It will not support microbiological growth, and it won't absorb body fluids or odors.

When the Akton Adaptive Flat Pad 5/8 inch is used as a cushion, it is intended for comfort only, not medical intervention. If the 5/8 inch pad is used for a seating cushion, pad must be used with an Action brand cover for warranty to be in force.
