Bench Buddy Adapted Shower Curtain Whitaker

The Bench Buddy Adapted Shower Curtain Whitaker features a patented slit design that keeps water inside the tub when using a tub transfer bench. For people with arthritis, a tub transfer bench may be a helpful item for bathing independently. However, a regular shower curtain will not keep water from escaping around the bench. This adapted shower curtain was designed by an Occupational Therapist to work with a variety of tub transfer benches to keep water off the bathroom floor.

The Bench Buddy Adapted Shower Curtain Whitaker features a sheer window across the top which allows more light in the shower enclosure. The BenchBuddy™ is easily installed as it uses patented Hookless® rings. The shower rod does not have to removed when hanging the curtain, and there is no need to purchase expensive hooks. The weighted magnets at the bottom of the curtain help to secure the flaps to the inside of tub. The 100% polyester material is water repellent and resists soap scum build-up. The manufacturer recommends daily shaking off excess water and letting the curtain hang freely for air drying. The Bench Buddy Adapted Shower Curtain Whitaker is available in white or beige.
