The Big John Commode Chair is height adjustable from 19 to 23 inches. Made of sturdy metal construction, the commode chair folds for convenient storage or travel, and has a 800 lb weight capacity. The chair can be used as a free standing bedside toilet or placed over a toilet as an elevated toilet seat. The extra wide, heavy duty toilet seat is made of high-grade plastic that is resistant to stains and chemicals. The seat measures 19 inches wide overall from side to side. The inside measures 11-½ inches from front to back and 8-3/4 inches side to side. The handles provide added assistance to make transferring easier. People with arthritis who have difficulty transferring on and off a standard toilet will find this heavy duty seat provides increased stability and safety.
