The Big Lamp Switch has three large spokes to create more leverage, making it easier to turn lamp switches for people with arthritis. Just unscrew and remove the regular switch and replace with this one.

The Big Lamp Switch fits most standard lamps and measures 2 inches in diameter. The easy to grasp large, three-spoked design requires less force to turn than a standard lamp switch. Users with arthritis who need to protect their joints from damage during everyday tasks will find the large lamp switch easy to install and use. The Big Lamp Switch is available in a Package of 1 or Package of 3.

Does not fit on Lamp

The center hole on the product is too small to fit over the stem on my table lamp control knob. I have Stiffel lamps, top of the line table lamps, and product does not work. Before ordering make sure you have a very small/thin thread on the lamp switch stem, otherwise it won't work!

Be Wary

They don't fit common standard size lamp control knobs around here. One is too loose (on an IKEA floor lamp.) The other one was too tight on another floor lamp even after I tried expanding the grippers on the device. I struggled so much with it, that it suddenly broke off the knob's stem inside the lamp's pole. Now I have ruined the lamp and not being handy enough to fuss with a rewiring kit I have the expense of going out and trying to replace the whole lamp! BEWARE!

I bought one for my husband, whose Parkinson's tremors make it difficult for him to use a regular lamp switch. This switch was the perfect solution, and I bought a second one for another lamp he uses frequently. Both switches fit the lamps perfectly and solved the problem.

lamp switch

I used three that fit on three of my lamps, but they did not fit on one of my lamps. It does not slide over the existing knob, but replaces it and sometimes does not fit.

This fit nicely in my table lamp but would not fit on by pole lamp. It makes turning on a light very easy, especially with rheumatoid arthritis in hands.

Q: How big is the opening of the hole in the switch?

A: The shaft is pretty small. The outer diameter is approximately 3/16 of an inch. The inner diameter is approximately 3/32 of an inch.

A: Most lamps use a universal knob that you can unscrew. Simply unscrew the existing and screw this one on.
