The Button Aid and Zipper Pull with Soft Grip Handle is a double-duty dressing tool with a large handle grip that is more comfortable for arthritic hands to use. The built-up wood and rubber handle has a formed wire buttoning aid at one end and a brass hook at the other end for pulling zipper tabs.

The Button Aid and Zipper Pull with Soft Grip Handle is a combination buttoning aid and zipper pulling tool. The formed wire loop is inserted through the buttonhole, looped around the button, and pulled back through the buttonhole. The small hook on the other end attaches onto hard-to-hold zipper tabs, making it easier to zip. The handle grip measures 4 inches long and has a 1-1/4-inch diameter. The soft foam provides a comfortable gripping surface for users with arthritis. The Button Aid and Zipper Pull measures 8-3/4 inches long overall. People with arthritis or limited use of their fingers and hands will find the double-duty Button Aid and Zipper Pull with Soft Grip Handle helps make buttoning and zipper when dressing easier.

Easy to use

I'm a retired Occupational Therapist and looking for equipment for a friend of mine with arthritis. I am so glad this item is still for sale! I've used it many times with patients and it works well. First, I love the handle because it is soft regardless of how you position it in your hand! Second,the metal part for button hook can be bent slightly larger (if you have a wider button or lack coordination to get it between the metal). Third, it has a hook for a zipper pull on the end. Not all button hooks have this. All button hooks take a little practice to use, but this one works great once you get the hang of it.

I ordered this product for my 86 year old mother. She is extremely happy with it. Her previous button aid did not have the bigger grip like this one. The product is much easier to manipulate and hold. Love it.

I bought this for a co-worker who is 97 years old and still drives herself to work every day. She kept telling me how hard it was to not be able to button her blouses in the morning. I found this gadget and she loves it.

Button Aid and Zipper Pull

I got this for a relative who has lost most of her hand strength. She was having a lot of difficulty buttoning her blouses. The large, cushiony handle is easy for her to hold. She is really happy to have it, says getting dressed is much less frustrating now.
