  • Helpful handle strap for car transfers
  • Comfortable cushion handle grip
  • Adjustable strap length
The Car Caddie by Standers provides a helpful grip for getting in or out of a car, van, or truck. People with arthritis who have difficulty standing from a car seat will find this car transfer aid helpful.

The Car Caddie is a figure-eight style strap constructed of nylon. The loop secures around the car door window frame and adjusts for varying heights of vehicle windows. The cushioned grip handle is more comfortable for arthritic hands to hold. The sturdy strap provides security and assistance while entering and exiting the automobile.

The Car Caddie does not require permanent installation and can be easily transferred for use in other vehicles. The strap is intended to act as a means for balance and support, and is not intended to carry the full weight of an individual. Maximum weight bearing capacity of the Car Caddie is 250 pounds.

To install the Car Caddie in a vehicle, simply roll the window down enough to loop the strap around the top frame of the window. Then snap the buckle closed and adjust the length so you can reach the handle while seated. Position the strap along the frame in the most effective position that provides maximum assistance. Roll the window up to secure the Car Caddie in place.

Car Caddie by Stander Specifications:

Couldn't use
An occupational therapist suggested this for my mom but after ordering and looking at it and the car closer, I realized we couldn't use it. The car has a plastic visor like thing around top of window to help vent when raining and keep it from coming in. With this item, I believe it would break the visor. Otherwise, with right placement near front end of window, I'm sure this could've been useful.
