worked well for stroke patient

My dad had a stroke that has caused his right arm to have some ataxia. When he recovered to a point where it was time to see if he could begin to feed himself, we tried silverware with a large grippy handle that can bend at the head left or right. That did not work well. I looked for alternative options and found this spoon. In combination with a rimmed bowl, it has worked very well for dad. He has been able to feed himself quite successfully despite the persistent ataxia. It is rather basic but the swivel, shape of the soon, and large grippy handle have gone a long way.
