The
Akton Commuter Cushion with Basic Cover
is a combination gel pad and foam cushion for basic pressure and shear reduction. People at low risk for developing pressure sores, will find this comfortable cushion affordable.
The Commuter Cushion combines a 1/2 inch Akton Polymer flat pad and 1-3/4 inch foam, sealed in a waterproof film for complete protection. The cushion measures 2-1/4 inch total thickness. The Basic Cover is made of a durable stretch knit material, soft black pontae fabric. The non-skid bottom cover is non-skid is zippered on 3 sides, and is removable and washable.
The Akton Commuter Cushion is available in sizes 16 x 16 inches, 16 x 18 inches, 18 x 16 inches, 18 x 18 inches.
This is a non-returnable hygiene item.

How thick are these cushions? You list length and width not width and depth as claimed. Are they firm enough to assist in standing from a car seat?

A:
The cushion measures 2-1/4 inch in total thickness. The Akton Commuter Cushion is not designed to assist with getting out of a vehicle. It's primary function is for pressure and shear reduction.
