The Dress EZ Dressing Pal by NorthCoast Medical combines two dressing aids in one: dressing stick and long-handled shoe horn. People with arthritis will find this helpful dressing aid useful for a variety of tasks.
The Dress EZ Dressing Pal is designed with a high-strength S-hook at one end, a shoe horn at the other, and a closed-cell foam grip handle. This versatile dressing tool provides great benefit to people who are recovering from foot, knee, or hip surgery, who have arthritis in their hands, limited upper extremity movement, recovering from other surgery that restricts movement, or coping with other types of limitations that hinder dressing.
Use the Dress EZ Dressing Pal to reach clothes hangers from clothing rods high in closets, pick up clothing from the floor, or reach shoes from under the bed. The versatile push-pull S-hook with a non-slip cap allows users to better handle clothing for dressing. Inside the shaft is resilient plastic, which will flex if accidentally sat on or stepped on.
The Dress EZ Dressing Pal has a unique S-hook with a soft silicone tip, for push-pull assistance, such as putting on clothing or using as a reacher. The shoehorn helps users' feet slide smoothly into shoes and has a built-in notch to assist with the removal of both socks and shoes. An adaptive device is useful for reaching to retrieve items of clothing, grabbing hangers, pushing wall buttons or switches, or simply using it as a back scratcher. The built-up foam handle helps cushion painful arthritic hands and requires less strength to maintain a firm grip. The nitrile foam handle is 1-3/8 inches in diameter and is made of closed-cell foam for easier cleaning. The Dress EZ Dressing Pal is available in 2 lengths: 24 inches and 30 inches.
