The Easy Grip-In Mug has an ergonomically curved internal handle that enables the hand to fit through the mug. This 16 oz. adapted drinking mug is specifically designed for individuals suffering from severe arthritis or other upper extremity disabilities that prevent grasping a standard drinking cup.

The Easy Grip-In Mug has a center opening that eliminates the need for grasping. The lid rotates 360° and has a smooth sliding lid lever. Much easier to grip

Purchased this for myself since I can't seem to grip cups anymore due to rheumatoid arthritis. Love the design; its much more comfortable on my hands and easy to hold. Washing it is a little difficult because of its shape and the vent opening could be a little larger, but overall a great product.

Q: Is the cup microwave safe?

A: It is dishwasher safe but not recommended for the microwave.

Q: Is there an adaptable lid that can be used with a straw for this cup?

A: A straw should fit in the drinking hole of the lid. You may have to use a plastic or rubber straw and pinch it to get it in.

Q: Does the lid screw on? Would the lid be easy to use if i had very limited use of my hands?

A: The lid is press on. It might be a little difficulty to open/close the slot to drink from with limited hand use.
