The ELK Lifting Cushion by Mangar Health is a compact, battery powered inflatable cushion designed to lift a person from the floor. Simple to set up, people with arthritis will find the remote control button easy to operate to inflate the cushions using the Airflo 24 compressor.
The ELK Lifting Cushion has four sections that inflate individually in order. Three sections will usually be sufficient to lift a person for transferring to stand, but a taller person may need all four. The four colored and numbered airlines are simply connected to each section of the lifting cushion. The handset is operated by pressing and holding numbered buttons in sequence. The Airflo will stop automatically once each section is fully inflated. The user can easily be helped to a stand or side transferred to a chair once the lift is completed. The lifting cushion is designed to lift the frailest individual to a plus size or bariatric user from the floor in a safe and dignified manner.
The ELK Lifting Cushion is ideal for use in confined spaces such as bathrooms and hallways. The cushion includes the Airflo 24 Compressor, an easy to use, battery-powered air compressor that easily inflates the lift cushion. The compressor performs at least 3 full lifts of the cushion from a full charge.
