The Etac Turner Pro Transfer Aid has a large oval handle that allows caregivers to maintain an ergonomic working position while helping the user in moving between seated positions. The 1/2-inch high footplate is easy for users to place their feet on, and the footplate has a non-slip surface that provides additional safety. When the user is ready, the transfer can be performed safely while the caregiver and user maintain communication and eye contact. The turning aid has rolling casters, making it easy to push out of the way when not in use.
The Etac Turner Pro Transfer Aid is intended to be used as a sit-to-stand transfer platform and should only be used with patients who can stand with support and can bear their own weight. The turning aid enables users to transfer between bed and wheelchair, bed and shower chair, wheelchair and toilet, chair and wheelchair, or chair and shower chair.
