The Floss Aid has a fork-shaped handle designed for users to easily reach all teeth and keeps floss taut when in use. The center riveted anchor disc holds floss at desired tension. People with arthritis who have difficulty holding dental floss will find this is an excellent dental hygiene tool with an angled head and long handle that makes flossing easier. The Floss Aid measures 6 inches long and is available in white or blue (sorry, no color choice).

A Little Skill Is Needed to Use

I am not the most coordinated person so using a device like this takes practice to get the desired results. It takes me twice as long to floss with this device, but it saves pain to my fingertips trying to maneuver in my mouth. I still can't get it to wrap around the tooth like using fingers, so more time is needed to get better at using this.

Floss Aid works great

This is a simple, perfect tool for everyone, not only people with arthritis. It is easy to grip and manipulate. The idea is so simple for adjusting the tension and using any kind of floss. I highly recommend it.
