Heel Guide Compression Stocking Aid
is an easy to use dressing aid designed to help make putting on compression stockings easier. People with arthritis will find the extra long handles helpful for easily lowering and lifting the dressing aid without bending over.
The Heel Guide Compression Stocking Aid has a unique indented channel on the inside of the center cone that guides the heel to keep the foot in a perfect position while pulling on compression stocking. The extra wide cone that accommodates users with edema or larger feet. The sturdy, 17 inch high handles reduce the need to bend or stretch. Three 3 grip levels accommodate users with different heights and hand sizes. The stocking aid is easily assembled, and comes apart for traveling purposes. Users donning compression stockings with 30-40 mmHg will find this dressing aid helpful. The Heel Guide Compression Stocking Aid helps make putting on compression stockings easier for people with arthritis.

Works well for thigh high stockings. For knee high socks I have not as good but okay. Really have to make sure it is fitted and adjusted properly on the apparatus.

I do not think this would work with the ezee compression device. The Heel Guide Compression Stocking aid is used to assist pulling on socks and stockings.

Can a legally blind person put this sock on? And. Can you use a diabetic sock with this contraption?

A:
The Heel Guide Compression Stocking Aid should be easy enough to use by the visually impaired. They may need help the first few times but with practice it should be fine. This compression stocking aid should work well with diabetic socks as well.

What are the protruding blue screw like things for? Is the device adjustable. I can't get the stocking up. It hurts.

The Heel Guide Compression Stocking Aid is not adjustable in any way and should not be uncomfortable when using. Please be sure the stocking is properly placed. There is a short video under the product description at the end of the photos on how to place and apply the compression stocking aid.

A:
The stocking is placed over the center "heel" guide, this allows the stocking to stretch open for the foot to slide into. Once the heel is inn the stocking pull up on the handles to pull the stocking up the leg.
