The INGRID Classic Cane or Crutch Tip Large with adjustable neck, fits large-size walking canes and crutches. This extremely durable, high-quality replacement tip provides an excellent grip both indoors and outdoors.

INGRID Classic Cane or Crutch Tip Large is manufactured in Sweden and made of high-quality polyurethane. The "tire track" treads at the point of contact provide an excellent grip on most surfaces, indoors and out. The convex bottom enhances both walking comfort and durability. Safety is enhanced because the tread pattern at the bottom of the tip does not wear as quickly as a conventional tip. Inside the tip is a rust-proof metal washer made of zinc-plated steel which prevents the cane or crutch from wearing through the tip. This cane tip has a patented elastic neck that adjusts to the dimension of the cane or crutch shaft, making it easy for the user to replace tips as needed. The INGRID Classic Cane or Crutch Tip Large fits large-diameter canes and crutches with common dimensions of 13/16 to 1-1/16 inches (21 - 27mm).

Big job little tip.

When I got the tip, I was worried as it has nearly half the surface area on the foot. I only got one so I was able to compare side by side with the generic tips I normally found. For beginners, the tip is easily 1/3 the weight of the typical tip. While it is smaller it dealt with traction well. The only surfaces I had problem with was ceramic tile that was recently wet or oily, like at a restaurant. The generic had just a tad bit more bite in these circumstances but not much.
