A:
The jewelry fastener end clips on one end of the jewelry you can hold it in place with one hand and the other hand is free to clasp the jewelry ends together. Below is a picture of how it works:

The magnetic fasteners clip into the existing clasps of your jewelry and then the two magnetic ends snap together.
