The Enablers Lamp Switch Enlargers by Apex are adapted turning aids for lamp switches. People with arthritic hands who have difficulty grasping and turning small lamp switches will find these enlargers helpful.

The Enablers Lamp Switch Enlargers fit over the existing lamp switch to provide an easy, stress free gripping surface. The large size triangular knob is easier to grip and turn than small round switches. These lamp switch adapters are easy to install and do not require electrical connections. Two Enablers Lamp Switch Enlargers are included in each package.

Please note: The Enablers Lamp Switch Enlarger is NOT designed for push button style lamp switches.

fits backwards

This enlarger seems to fit with the hollow side facing out. It works well except that it is rather easy to accidentally pop off.

Works Great

Bought these for my mom who has very deformed hands due to rheumatoid arthritis. Made a huge difference for her to operate her lamps. She loves them! At first I thought they didn't work but I pushed them on the switch too far. If that happens just pull them back towards you a little like you are going to remove them and then they work fine. They have to be in just the right place.

Lamp switch enlarger

The lamp switch enlarger is defiantly a five star product. It makes it much easier to turn on and off the lamp. The only problem I had was getting it in the switch. I finally removed the switch and put it on that way. Thank you very much for your products. I will be ordering from you again.

The devise would probably work well on most table lamps which have a larger knob on them. The floor lamp I wanted to use it on has a turn switch that remains thin all the way out. I adapted by wrapping tape on it to enlarge the diameter but that doesn't work very well.

It did not work on my lamp

the grip on the enabler knob was too loose no matter how I positioned it on the length of the light switch knob. As I twisted to turn on the light, the enabler twisted and the light stayed off unless I used excessive force to squeeze the enabler onto the knob--a painful task that was harder than turning the light on without the enabler.

A: As long as the knob twists and doesn't push in, the Enablers Lamp Switch Enlarger should work.

Q: Is this made of plastic or rubber? Would it stretch to fit a slightly bigger switch or perhaps a different shape?

A: The Lamp Switch Enlarger will fit different size switch but they will only fit if they are round.

Q: will the lamp enabler fit the switch on the base on a older stiffel lamp?

A: It should fit the switch but depending on how close the base is to the switch the Switch Enlarger may not turn. The enlarger is 1.5 inches so you may want to check to see if there is enough clearance for it.
