The Leg Loop Leg Lift is a simple, practical device for users with decreased lower extremity strength or mobility due to arthritis. This easy-to-use leg lifting aid helps users lift their leg and foot onto a wheelchair footrest, bed, into a car, or onto a footstool by providing a more secure grip than merely tugging on a piece of clothing.

The Leg Loop Leg Lift consists of a rigid center section with a hand loop and a foot loop at each end. The foot loop stays open until the strap is pulled and then conforms to the shape of the foot for a secure and comfortable grip. The rigid middle section allows for easy maneuverability. Once pulled, the loop closes and conforms to the shape of the foot for a secure and comfortable fit. Made high strength nylon webbing, the leg lifter measures 36 inches in length. The pre-formed leg loop measures 8.5 inches long and 3 inches wide, and the hand loop is 8 inches long. Users with arthritis, limited lower extremity strength, following hip or knee surgery, will find the Leg Loop Leg Lift helpful for positioning their leg and foot for comfort and safety.

I have arthritis in both hips and knees. I'm not in a wheelchair (yet), but was having a tough time swinging both legs up into bed and getting in and out of the car. This simple gadget is easy to use, just put your foot in the loop and use your hands/arms to lift your legs. Works great for me. I should point out that I don't have any arthritis or weakness in my upper body. If you do, this might not work so well for you.

Leg Loop Leg Lift is really a help

This really helps me get my leg in and out of the car. It lets me use my arms to lift the leg easily.
