MediBeads Standard Pad
is designed to deliver a moist heat treatment and is ideal for treating shoulders, lower back, and abdomen. This large 9 inch wide, 12 inch long moist heat therapy pad provides effective safe, moist heat therapy for arthritis pain.
MediBeads Microwave Activated Moist Heat Wraps deliver immediate pain relieving moist heat therapy and meet the criteria of an ideal analgesic modality. MediBeads are washable, odor-free, dust free, and will not support bacteria or fungal growth. Unlike other grain and pellet products, MediBeads microwavable heating packs need no special covers, they will not dry out, dissolve or disintegrate.
MediBeads safely delivers a clean moist 20 minute heat treatment when microwaved for only 60 seconds. MediBeads take their moisture from the air, so it is not necessary to add water. Medical professionals recommend moist heat because it penetrates deeply and quickly to increase blood flow to reduce pain and relax muscles. These risks include but are not limited to burns on their sensitive skin, the possibility of overheating (babies cannot regulate their body temperatures as effectively as adults), or potential leakage of the beads if the pad is damaged.
