Q:Would the return on the lever, return back to within 1/2" of the face of the door?

A: The distance will depend on the shape of the doorknob. Just make sure there is enough room between the doorknob and the plate to use the L tool; you will need at least 1/2 inch clearance.

A: The shower knob is probably too deep for the Leveron to fit around. The AGG2001 Great Grips Two Lever Doorknob Grippers https://www.arthritissupplies.com/great-grips-two-lever-doorknob-grippers.html should stretch to fit the shower knob.

Q:Can this be used on a knob that is not the typical round knob shown with the product?6 We have a lock on our main gate that is small and elongated and we use our thumb & 2 fingers to turn it. Would this lever work on this knob?

A: Probably not. The gaskets fit around the standard round door knob so that the adapter will be secured and not twist around.

Q:Would the door knob lever work on a shower faucet handle that is round ?

A: No, the Leveron Doorknob Lever Adapters have two pieces for both sides of the door. However, something like the Great Grips Two Lever Doorknob Grippers by Stander (product #: AGG2001) may work with your round shower knobs.

Q:Need a adapter for my old round shower knobs. Which is better this one (leveron Doorknow Lever) or Universal Knob Turner
My shower knobs are not smooth because they have four protrusions from front to back

A: The Universal Knob Turner may work better with shower knobs because of the unusual shape of the knob. The Leveron Doorknob Lever Adapter may not properly fit.

Q:Hi can this lever be used without having to attach it to the door permanently? I keep getting locked in toilets with round door handles...I need something I can carry in my handbag and use if I get stuck..as I have no use of fingers due to illness..thanks...also what is cost to send to Australia? Do you have any outlets in Australia? Thank you

A: The Leveron Doorknob Lever Adapter isn't portable. Once placed on the doorknob it takes some effort to remove it. You may consider the Maddagrip Opener (Product #: AMI753581), it's designed to open jar lids but it would be something to help grip a doorknob and would be light weight and portable. We are online only but we do ship internationally. Please see our International Shipping policy located under Ordering Info: Help + Policies in the upper right corner of the webpage.

Q:How do I remove this lever from a door knob if I ever need to? I have one on a bathroom door that I can't get to come off.

A: Be sure you have the black tool that came with the door knob, you'll need it to remove the knob if ever needed. If you don't have the tool you should be able to use an allen wrench. To remove the knob you reverse the installation instructions. Below is a link to the instructions for installation.
