A: I see Tivo in the manual but not Mediacom Tivo. You may want to double check with Mediacom to see if they know if the Tek Partner Large Button Universal Remote will work. If it doesn't they may be able to suggest a larger remote that is supported.

Q: My eyesight is good but my cable remote is hard on my finger and thumb joints. Will this help with that problem, in other words does it take less pressure to push the buttons?

A: I would imagine it would take about the same amount of pressure, but you do have a larger surface area to press allowing you to use a larger part of your finger, which might make it easier on your joints.
