The Recliner Riser by Stander raises the seat height of a recliner, allowing the user to stand safely and easily. When a person stands from a recliner, it tilts forward, dropping the arms and seat by 3 or 4 inches.
With the Recliner Riser installed, a recliner chair is raised 1-3/4 inches, and the forward tilt is limited. This provides an additional 3 to 4 inches of lift. This extra support provides a person with weak knees a biomechanical advantage, enabling them to stand on their own. People with arthritis who have difficulty standing will find these recliner lifts helpful to make standing easier. Recliner Risers attach quickly and easily to the wooden base of a recliner.
