Rigid Lip Blocks help correct tongue position and prevent the straw from going too deep inside the mouth. By placing these firm mouth pieces inside the upper end of a straw, the user will be discouraged from biting the straw or thrusting the tongue.

Lip Blocks are used to discourage tongue-thrusting, promote tongue retraction, and correct overall tongue position. Lip blocks should only be used by a professional therapist or by a caregiver trained in their use. Lip Blocks fit into most regular straws and are constructed of medical grade materials that are FDA compliant and contain no PVC or latex.
