The Vinyl Grip Button and Zipper Aid has a contoured handle with vinyl grip that is easier for arthritic hands to hold. Insert the formed stainless steel wire loop through the clothing eyelet then hook over the button. The button hook then easily pulls the button pulled back through the eyelet.

Q: How do you use this button opener? Will it work for the top button on jeans and pants?

A: The loop slips over the button then you slide the loop into the button hole pulling the button through with it. Same to unbutton, just reverse. The Rubber Grip Button and Zipper Aid will work on jeans and pants as well.

Q: It is not my hands that are arthritic. I had a hip replacement and don't have the mobility to zip up boots. Will this do the job? If not, do you have a device that will? Thank you.

A: The Rubber Grip Button and Zipper Aid should help but may not be long enough to reach down to the boot. You may consider putting a larger ring on the zipper and using a dressing stick with a hook on the end to catch the zipper. Check out the Dressing Stick (Product #: AMCDS1001).
