The Sock Horse sock aid does not stretch out socks like other sock aids. By loading the sock onto the inside of the Sock Horse, with just the top of the sock over the tabs, your socks are not stretched out and your skin never touches the plastic. The easy to grip handle has ribbed thumb grips and contoured finger grips.

The Sock Horse Sock Aid helps you put on your socks quickly and easily. This sock aid has rubber grips that help to pull the sock over the heel and up the calf. Unlike other sock aids, your sock will not slip off the Sock Horse Sock Aid. The rubber grips are smooth and do not snag delicate socks or stockings. Simply insert the sock over the rubber tabs, and pull the sock onto your foot.

Best device for putting on socks if you can't bend over. Problem is, the first two I purchased broke within a year (plastic cracked), but for the price I bought two more.

Saves time and effort!

I found this item on line and ordered it for my mom as a "stocking stuffer", actually it demonstrated how to use the sock aid. Perfect! Do I have to tell you how thrilled she was? Sock Aid

The sock aide works great. My hip joint is now preventing me from lifting my leg to insert my foot. I also need another even more portable style like this one to carry in my travel bag.

Q: I have no bending problems, but I have difficulty putting on athletic socks because of my thumb arthritis.Will the sock horse make it easier for me to put on my athletic socks?

Q: HOW DO YOU GET YOUR FOOT IN TO THE SOCK - i HAVE ZERO GRIP IN ONE HAND AND CANNOT TWIST MY FOOT BEFORE IT CRAMPS?

A: After place the sock on the sock aid you should just slip your foot into the sock. The Sock Horse Sock Aid is lightweight enough you should be able to use with one hand.

Q: In addition to "crew" length socks, will this device also work with "ankle" and "no-show" length socks? Is a video available?

A: The ankle and no-show socks typically do not stretch as much, but if you can get them to stretch 4 inches they should still work. Video is available in the description.
