Essential tool
Essential tool for when movement is restricted! I was able to use it for more than dressing – turning off lights, Pulling out a refrigerator vegetable bin, or adjusting sheets and blankets.

Dressing Stick
Wonderful stick. So helpful in getting dressed and undressed. Use it to help take my socks off, and a shoe horn, UNDOING VELCRO STRAPS ON MY SHOES, among many other tasks. I use the hook for the velcro straps on my shoes. Have found no other too for doing that task.

Q:
How does this dressing stick work?
Asked by:
Sue Brown

A:
The vinyl coated hook on the end of the stick is placed inside the shoulder of a sleeve to pull over or it can be used to pull pants up from the belt loops or the waist band.

Q:
I have an arthritic hip and can't reach down to pull on socks on my left foot. I've tried several gadgets for sock pullers and they are all much to wide and I can't get my small ankle sox over the center part. Is there something that will work for me?
Asked by:
Cicely Roddy
- 8/19/2017
A:
The Dressing Stick should work with ankle socks but may not be as effective as a sock aid. The Easy On Easy Off Sock Aid Kit (AKE235B) does pretty well with smaller socks and nylons.

will this help with pulling a zipper in the back of your dress?

A:
The Dressing Stick is more suited for the initial dressing or pulling the garments on. There are buttoning and zipping aids available. Search "Zipping Aid" to see zipper options.
