With the NorthCoast Big Grip Bendable Utensils Set of 3, individuals with weak hand grip caused arthritis will be able to successfully eat their meals. Each utensil handle is designed to be safe and comfortable for the user to hold, and ideal for individuals with a limited grip strength or hand movement. The NorthCoast Big Grip Bendable Utensils Set of 3 includes the Rocker Knife, Fork, and Tablespoon.

The stainless steel NorthCoast Big Grip Bendable Fork and NorthCoast Big Grip Bendable Tablespoon have an adjustable metal shaft that allows them to be bent and customized for left or right handed people who have difficulty feeding themselves. The NorthCoast Big Grip Rocker Knife has a rounded knife blade, allowing the user to utilize a rocking motion, which requires minimal arm strength, making cutting easier. The extended safety cap protects fingers while cutting. This adapted table knife with rounded blade is a great solution for persons with limited arm movement, strength or poor arm control. The large soft rubber handles are comfortable for users with limited hand strength to grasp.

These utensils are VERY helpful! I have arthritis in both hands and recently had suspension arthroplasty on my right thumb for basal arthritis. Even with the surgery, gripping standard cutlery was uncomfortable and awkward: sooner or later I would drop and spill some of what I was eating. This was especially embarrassing when I was eating at work. But the thick, textured rubber handles on these make them VERY easy to hold! The knife cuts much better and more easily than a regular dinner knife, and I don't have to apply as much pressure! I liked these so well that I ordered a second set: I keep one set at home and one set at work! I'm VERY happy with these!!!!

This product has been a blessing to my 93 year old Mom who has crippling Rheumatoid Arthritis!!! We were impressed with the high quality of it also. I would highly recommend them to other similar arthritic patients!!! Thank you so much!

works well

My mother's arthritis has been getting more limiting and painful. I thought we'd try these. She likes them so much that she uses them for every meal. Easy to control and much more comfortable.

Needed help with control while eating

I found the set to be very nice. I only wish they were weighted that would make them perfect!

I bought these utensils for my 86 year old mother. She has arthritis in her hands and wrists. The handles were too big and the utensils were still too heavy.

A: The metal of the utensil is flexible and just bends either to the left or the right.
