The Formed Sock Aids are helpful dressing aids that allow a sock to be slipped over the form and then pulled onto the foot. People with arthritis will find the molded plastic frame keeps a sock open for their foot to easily slide in.

The Formed Sock Aids have a trough that is made of a durable plastic material that holds its shape while allowing the user to pull the sock onto the foot and position correctly. The rigid material does not compress and prevents a heavy elastic sock from collapsing the trough. A rubber self-adhesive pad (included) may be added to provide a non-slip resistance to the sock and can be placed in the best position for the individual user. The pad helps prevent the sock from slipping off the form too early.

The Formed Sock Aids are available with 3 different handle designs. The Single Cord Loop Handle is a braided nylon cord that is continuous. The handle allows people using one hand to easily lower and lift the sock aid. The 2 Foam Handles provide a built up, soft grip for people with arthritic hands to comfortably hold. The Single Handle with Garter Clips allow the user to attach the garter hooks to the sock or stocking to prevent it from slipping off the plastic form.

Formed Sock Aid Specifications:

  • Choose From: Single Cord Loop Handle, 2 Foam Handles, Single Handle with Garter Clips.
  • Trough measures: 9.5 inches long, 4 inches wide, 3 inches high.
  • Includes: Self adhesive foam non-slip disc.
  • Color: White.
Fooled me!
I have had great difficulty getting my socks on for some time. When I saw this gadget on the internet I laughed but I ordered it thinking it was a sick joke. Fooled me! It works so well there are no words to describe. The person who thought it up is a genius...PVC material, a couple of ropes with handles and it gives me the ability to wear socks... Thank you.

Mr.
I bought this sock aid to replace one that I already had. After hip replacements and back ailments it is the only way that I can get my socks on comfortably. This product is very sturdy and works like a charm. Thank you.

Sock Aid
I was asking my friends to help me put on my left sock due to a hip injury. I am once again independent and now that the weather is colder I am able to put on my own socks again. What a relief its wonderful.

Mrs.
I bought this as a gift because I have one and cannot get my socks on without it. The "sox-thing" is wonderful. A life saver.
