The Hands Free Hair Dryer Stand holder is designed to securely hold hair dryers with handles up to 2-1/4 inch in diameter. The 17 inch flexible goose neck will bend and pivot allowing you to position the hair dryer to the angle that best fits your needs. The space saving tapered "U" shaped base measures 8 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 1/8 inch high. This dryer stand won't take up a lot of surface space, an important consideration for those with small counter space.

The Hands Free Hair Dryer Stand is great for those recovering from shoulder surgery, one-handed individuals or people with arthritic shoulders.

Does its job well!

After having rotator cuff surgery I realized I needed a way to blow dry my hair with the use of only one arm. I researched online. There were many similar items that I could have easily purchased at Target or other similar stores. However, all had poor reviews that they tipped over with the weight of the dryer. This handsfree dryer has a better design and does its job just as it should be. Shipping was done quickly after it was ordered. Overall very pleased with the product and website.

hair dryer stand

I think the stand will work well. The only issue I have is the bungie cord does not hold the dryer still and the bolt holding the upper bracket does not stay tight. My husband is adding something else to hold it in place.

A: No, the dryer is secured in the stand with a foam padding around the handle.

Q: I have a heavy, professional hand-held blow dryer. Two questions: will the stand topple over with a heavy dryer? and is the holder heat-resistant? (My dryer gets hotter than some.)

A: Yes, it will topple over with a heavy dryer if you do not secure the base. You could use a book or some other weight to help stabilize the base. Also, it helps to try and center the dryer over the base. The main components are steel, so it is heat resistant, but the flexible neck cover is plastic which is not heat resistant.
